Payment Information

Church and Chapel is proud to offer less expensive fees compared to other fine funeral homes. You will notice we place our fees for service and merchandise right on our website for your review. To be fair to all the families we serve, we do ask for a form of payment at the time the arrangement is made. We do accept checks, cash, and all major credit cards. We do not have an additional fee should you wish to pay our firm with a credit card.

In addition, we can bill an existing life insurance policy of the deceased for funeral expenses, including cemetery fees if desired, as well as pay the beneficiary some funds should prompt cash be needed to pay for other immediate expenses like family travel and/or lodging to attend a funeral service. This form of payment is called accepting Life Insurance Assignment. We utilize an outside service to help us accommodate this form of payment and their fee is 3.5% of the total funds requested. Their fee is not added to our bill and the family does not have to pay this fee separately. Rather, this fee is paid from the proceeds of the remaining life insurance monies. Our staff will assist the family to complete their request form and irrevocable assignment power of attorney form which will give this firm permission to speak to the life insurance company direct on behalf of the beneficiary.
